Soft reset bot (Gen 6)

This script will trigger a battle against a Legendary Pokémon or talk to the Mystery Gift lady and soft-reset the game when the found pokémon it does not comply with a set or user selected characteristics such as Nature or IV's.

Usage

1. Start PKMN-NTR with InputRedirection as normal.
2. Put your character in front of the encounter you want to trigger.
3. Open the PSS menu, identify the screen where the PSS Settings button can be pressed. See the pictures below for reference.
4. In the Soft-reset tab, click on the "Load filter set button", and select a previously created filter set..
5. Press the Run button.
6. The bot will activate the battle and soft-reset if the pokémon does not comply with the selected filters.
7. Wait until a soft-reset produces the desired pokémon.
8. If the bot breaks (except for black screen issue) you can resume the bot by skipping the "Disable PSS" section and will trigger the encounter automatically).

Types of soft-reset

• Mirage Spot: Heatran, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Cobalion, Terrakion, Virizion, Reshiram, Zekrom, Kyurem, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Cresselia. Before starting: Make sure you're in front of the hole.
• Regular: Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Deoxys (in Sky Pillar), Latios (Eon Ticket), Latias (Eon Ticket). Before starting: Make sure you're in front of the pokémon.
• Event: Any pokémon that the Mystery Gift Lady gives to you. Before starting: Make sure you're in front of the Lady at the Pokémon Center, also you must only have one pokémon in your party. The bot will reset the game (soft-reset #0) immediately after disabling PSS for initializing the the party data in the RAM, so the received event is always in the same position.
• Groudon/Kyogre: Only rematch is supported. Before starting: The PokéNav doesn't work in the area where they are located, so you need to manually disable the PSS communications, walk in fron of the legendary pokémon and save the game.
• Walk: Regigigas, Lugia, Ho-Oh. Before starting: You need to walk foward one step to start the battle, make sure you're on the right position.
• Dialga/Palkia/Giratina:: Soaring in the sky bot, movement can fail at any time. Before starting: Make sure you are anywhere in Dewford Town and the Eon Flute is the only registered item. The bot will only press the Y button to activate it.
• Tornadus/Thundurus/Landorus:: Soaring in the sky bot, movement can fail at any time. Before starting: Make sure you are anywhere in Route 120 and the Eon Flute is the only registered item. The bot will only press the Y button to activate it.

Notes

• Remember to use a Pokémon with the Synchronize ability and the desired nature to speed up the process for non-event pokémon.

Untested features

• Handle of certain legendary pokémon, not all pokémon have been tested:
  • Regular: Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Rayquaza, Latios (Eon Ticket), Latias (Eon Ticket).
  • Mirage Spot: Kyurem, Cresselia.
  • Step: Regigigas, Ho-Oh.
  • Soaring bots: Giratina, Landorus.
• Unsupported pokémon:
  • All these pokémon in main story: Latios, Latias, Groudon, Kyogre, Deoxys.

Known issues

• This bot may break at random in a black screen after a soft-reset, this problem seems to be from NTR itself and can't be fixed.
• The loading of the game it's still time-based, because the reconnection is moved after the game is loaded.
• In the soaring in the sky bots, if you have an encounter with the flying bird pokémon, the bot will break.
