Xfce is the default desktop environment in MidnightBSD. Here are some tips and information.
Wallpapers Xfce has some odd handling for wallpapers which can confuse users.
Stretch Wallpaper across multiple displays Run xfce4-settings-editor and change this property:
Property: /backdrop/screen0/xinerama-stretch
Type: Boolean
Value: TRUE|1|Enabled
Locate current wallpaper
xfconf-query -c xfce4-desktop -l | grep last-image | xargs -n1 -- xfconf-query -c xfce4-desktop -p
