Anthony:

  • OpenDRR/boundaries:
    • Replaced gpkg-to-pgdump.yml with upload-opendrr-boundaries-sql.yml
    • Use opendrr-boundaries.sql in the repo instead of the recreating opendrr-boundaries.dump from GeoPackages (for time-saving)
    • opendrr-boundaries.sql is split into 2GB-chunks before uploading as release assets
    • Fixes (#34; see #36.
  • OpenDRR/python-env Dockerfile:
    • Install gh and pv for add_data.sh
    • Restore the use of pip3 install -r requirements.txt
  • OpenDRR/opendrr-api:
    • To support download from release assets and joining split 2GB-chunks

Drew:

  • Writing a paper for Dave's landslide projects
  • Getting volcano insights(?) stuff going
  • Working through the Kibana stuff, and helping Phil of H7 with some of the visualizations
  • Happy to help with anybody with PRs or anything

Damon:

  • Did documentation for the release of the workflow and GitHub automation in the NHSL repo and the earthquake-scenario repo
  • Spent an obscene amount of time trying to find map tiles that would work with EPSG:4326 for the maps in GitHub Pages
    • the only free EPSG:4326 map tiles available were from US Intelligence; sent them an email asking for permission to use their API, but haven't heard back yet
    • all other services found thus far require paid subscription for what is essentally adjusted map tiles from OpenStreetMap
  • Creating a form on GitHub Pages that will create a comment in GitHub Discussions, which is a new feature supported only by GitHub’s GraphQL v4 API (instead of REST for v3)

Will:

  • Friday: BC data was done, built the test, and looks like it has all run fine with no issues
  • Going to do a few spot checks for BC (hopefully later today) to make sure the numbers line up with Tiegan’s Python code and our build
  • Once done, will add to test_hexbin_unclipped branch, maybe with a few tweaks like the PT_LIST in add_data.sh, and maybe another script and model-factory to include BC, and can start testing once Anthony is ready (with the download of opendrr-boundaries.sql specific to the test_hexbin_unclipped branch)
  • Working on getting both the clipped and unclipped hexbins into the new test_hexbin_unclipped branch in the boundaries repo
    • Just have to update the README, and add some tweaks to the test branches in model-factory and opendrr-api repos to incorporate those new changes
    • Created new tagging Drew and Anthony yesterday in case we need to update Elasticsearch indices because there are now additional 1, 5, 10, 25-km indices...
  • ...
