This page provides links to primary user documentation for the BioNetGen language and software.
Although somewhat outdated, the BioNetGen book chapter in Methods in Molecular Biology remains an excellent resource for the BioNetGen language. The chapter is highly recommended to users who have chosen BNG for research-grade applications. An updated, online version of this chapter is under construction here.
The BioNetGen Primer is a new book chapter with an application-oriented presentation of the BioNetGen language. This chapter covers compartmental BNGL in addition to plain-vanilla BNGL.
As of BioNetGen 2.2, BNG2.pl is found in the root BioNetGen directory instead of the Perl2 subdirectory.
