What feature should be added to Suwayomi?

We should be able to mark the chapter read when setting a manual read on a tracker.

Ideally:

  • If I am using a tracker in a manga, and I set the tracker read for it to 50; my local read should mark all chapters below 50 (inclusive) to read and above 50 to undead. So it change the before and after chapter read.

  • This gets call when the tracker modal is open, like the refresh, but only if tracker read is more than local read.

  • It will always change the local read if the tracker read is set manually.

Why/Project's Benefit/Existing Problem

  • It will make it easier to read a manga in multiple clients and have a sync like functionality.

  • It will let you quickly re- pickup a big manga (thousands of chapters) that you dropped a long time ago go, without having to check the last chapter that you read, scroll all the way down (though thousands of chapters) to update your local read.

  • It is a pseudo sync function.
