User bundles
by SCN9A
In writing this posts, I was focused on highlighting the value of one of the functionalities and across the different subscription tiers. If the idea takes root, we can plan a similar content for other features. Please let me know what you think
ASA Stats Token Utilization Document demonstrates the advanced features of subscription tiers. The following aims to highlight the use-cases of ASA Stats User bundle functionality.
A User bundle functionality implies saving bundles in the user settings, as well as editing and changing the addresses in a bundle.
The functionality facilitates the valuation of ASA held in more than one wallet and the presentation of these assets in a single portfolio view.
Across the four subscription tiers, ASA Stats subscribers would gain an increasingly advanced control over the specifics of user-bundles, these are simplified in 4 main points:
Each bundle per subscription tier permits a specific number of Algorand addresses. For instance, the first tier, Intro, supports up to eight addresses in a user bundle. The number of addresses increases to thousand addresses in the top subscription tier, the Cluster.
User bundles can serve a variety of use cases, the ability to configure more than one user bundle is enhanced across the advanced tiers. For example, the professional subscription tier features three types of user-bundles:
- up to ten user bundles consisting of up to fifteen addresses
- up to five user bundles consisting of up to twenty addresses
- up to three user bundles consisting of up to a hundred addresses
User bundles naming implies having a custom name and related URL for every user bundle when the user is authenticated. This feature is applicable to all subscription tiers. The feature facilitates the categorisation and identification of distinct use-cases. For instance, If a user defines a name for a bundle for example "nfts", then the bundle will be accessible to the authenticated user under https://www.asastats.com/nfts.
Subscribers are able to define a name for each of their bundles that is unique and accessible to every ASA Stats user. The advanced feature is limited to Professional and Cluser subscription tiers. If a user defines a name for a bundle for example "nfts", then the bundle will be accessible under https://www.asastats.com/nfts. This functionality implies that the name has not been taken by some other subscriber of this or a higher tier. Also, a registered ANS/NFD name is prioritized over the user's bundle name.
The thriving Algorand ecosystem, the launch and development of many projects, results in challenges and opportunities that user-bundle functional aims to address and facilitate.
Multiple wallet services such as MyAlgo wallet, Pera, Algosiger are available on Algorand. Consequently, early adapters as well as the need to chose one service over another results in multiple wallets per user. Hence the need for a unified portfolio view.
NFT platforms and DeFi solutions are in the early phase of development, wallet support is not readily implemented in those platforms, which highlights the utility of multiple wallets per user.
The key importance of user bundles functionality extends beyond single user capabilities to encompass DeFi and NFT projects.
- Tracking of Project/s wallets (Creators, reserve, LP, Teams wallet)
- Venture Capital portfolio tracking
- Liquidity pools of given project across DeFi solutions (Yieldly, Tinyman, AlgoFi, Pact)
- Staking pools of given project
- DAO investment funds
- NFT projects tracking and featuring
The full potential of user bundles functionality is yet to crystallise. ASA Stats serves different groups, individual and corporate Investors, Developers and software companies. The bundle functionality along with future ASA Stats API service open ways for innovations, that is the development of user-based widgets to be featured in ASA Stats portfolio view.
