- What sort of data is it? What sort of information does it offer us?
- MalaCards is an integrated database of various human diseases and their annotations under GeneCards and associated with other GeneCards-related database . It provides particular detailed information on genetic variants, proteins, pathways that are associated with various human disease.
- When and where was it published? Was it published?
- It was first published in 2013: MalaCards: an integrated compendium for diseases and their annotation. Since then it also has several updates over times. The latest, Rational confederation of genes and diseases: NGS interpretation via GeneCards, MalaCards and VarElect, was published in 2017
- Is this annotation set updated regularly or is it a static source?
- There is no specification on update cycle. From what I observed, it is usually updated quarterly.

- The data is in text and xlsx format.

- The databases use various identifiers. Primarily, GO identifiers are used.
