It builds, but installs things in the wrong place. There are hundreds of lines of Makefiles and scripts that assume directories end with / and as such often don't insert / when concatenating paths. I don't think it's worth changing and re-testing all of that for an effectively cosmetic improvement in the output of yosys-config.
