The Attacker role is responsible for determining how a Trust engages in battle.
See AutoEngageMode
An Attacker is able to engage a target during battle. When AutoEngageMode
is set to Always
, the Attacker will engage the party's target, only if the target is claimed by the party. If an Attacker is engaged and the party changes its target, it will automatically switch targets. Use this primarily for melee jobs. When AutoEngageMode
is set to Assist
, it will lock onto the target but not draw its weapons. If an Attacker is not also the Puller, it's recommended to assist the puller using // trust assist PullerName
, e.g. // trust assist Avesta
.
