Targeter

Overview

The Targeter role enables auto targeting of mobs.

Modes

See AutoTargetMode

How it works

When AutoTargetMode is set to Auto or Same, the Targeter will automatically target the closest mob that is either claimed by the party or targeting party members. This replaces the built-in auto target functionality and requires /autotarget to be set to OFF. Use this in situations like Odyssey to easily switch targets when your party is pulling and sleeping multiple mobs. When loading trust, the built-in auto target is disabled by default, however if you re-enable it you will have to manually disable it using /autotarget OFF. Note that laggy areas such as Odyssey may interfere with the ability for a Targeter to target a new mob before disengaging.

Auto targeting monsters

When AutoTargetMode is set to Auto, the Targeter will automatically target the closest mob that is either claimed by the party or that is targeting party members. Use as a direct replacement for the built-in /autotarget functionality.

Auto targeting monsters with the same name

When AutoTargetMode is set to Same, the Targeter will automatically target the mobs above only if they have the same name as the target that was just defeated. Use this in situations like Odyssey when your party is pulling and sleeping a group of Nostos Mobs and you only want to kill mobs one group at a time.
