I believe the maintainer of this integration is also the maintainer of the official hass integration. Nothing has been done on this one since the official one was released. If the official one supported everything this one does I'd just switch over. Anyway, I appreciate your efforts here @scottyphillips. Thank you. |

Hello @jazzyisj, I don’t think he has made any significant updates to the official integration since 2021 either, it’s still missing fan and switch entities. So much like yourself I’ll keep using the custom component for now. |

Starting from HA 2024.1.0 this custom integration was creating a lot of noise about deprecated constants. This PR addresses the issue. It also fixes the fan speed issue which is under a separate PR (#33) as well.. I don't expect this to get merged because the maintainer appears to have lost interest, but this is for the benefit of everyone else.
