If our package contains a versioned folder that matches the specified version, copy from that directory. This allows us to maintain a simpler git repo structure, where the versions are stored as folders, and we therefore only need a single branch (main).
This is a simpler way of laying out a repo.

Working with multiple package versions can be difficult when we aren't
already maintaining branches-per-package-version, because it requires
a lot of branches to do effectively.
Add support for the version as the final directory in the path.
