@Randond you should not need a gem to check data. Just take a look at the corresponding table to the model in the database via SQL. |

So far, it seems to be able to check for name and item quantity successfully, however, the code I wrote shouldn't result in what it results in (however this is the desired result nonetheless) please note that I added a gem to test to see if the comments were blank. It doesn't seem to work the way I intend, so I will probably remove it.
