Payment Methods
The plugin will create payment methods for all methods that are available (both enabled and disabled) in your Mollie account.
This means you need to assign the correct "API Key" and a "Test Mode" setting in the plugin before importing payment methods.
If a payment method is somehow not created, it might have to do with either invalid credentials or that not all required payment methods are unlocked in Mollie.
To enable the Mollie-specific payment method on Gambio checkout, please click on the Configure button of the specific payment method. You will be redirected to the payment methods page.
By clicking on the Mollie configuration button, you will be redirected back to the Mollie configuration page. Enabled or Disabled flag indicates the status of the payment method inside the Mollie dashboard. To install the payment method, please click on the Install button.
Upon installation, configuration parameters will be shown.
Please, click on the Edit button if you want to change the payment configuration options.
To enable surcharge along with the Mollie payment methods, please go to Modules/Order Total on the Gambio admin page, and select the Mollie Payment surcharge.
Please, click on the Install button.
After the Mollie Payment surcharge is installed and enabled, the surcharge option will be available on the payment method configuration screen.
Mollie Payment surcharge configuration is available on the payment method configuration screen, where it is possible to choose type of surcharge and set surcharge configuration.
Available surcharge types:
- No fee
- Fixed fee (available fixed amount configuration)
- Percentage (available percentage and limit configuration)
- Fixed fee and percentage (available fixed amount, percentage and limit configuration)
If you choose surcharge where limit configuration is available, and leave it blank or set it as zero, the plugin will treat it as there is no surcharge applied to the payment method. It is mandatory to put the 'maximum surcharge' greater than 0 in order to charge customer payment surcharge.
The surcharge amount is displayed to the customer next to the payment method and in summary.
Klarna payment methods do not support surcharges.
