Mobilis heavily relies on XMPP as the communication infrastructure. There are several projects in the GIT repository dedicated to XMPP processing:
Mobilis Beans - Data layer for sending XML objects via XMPP (project MobilisXMPP)
MXA - Mobilis XMPP on Android (containing MXA Tutorial)
MXJ - Mobilis XMPP for Java
MXJS - Mobilis XMPP for JavaScript (TODO: documentation still missing)
