Welcome to Filippos Zorzi, colleague of Giacomo.
We have a dozen items for approval by AG, due 4/29. Going forward, we may want to have fewer than that.
Facilitators met with Kevin on processes for Errata. Just about anything in TR space needs to go through a full CFC. Plan is to republish to incorporate errata, but not more frequently than once a year. For now, we are batching up all errata, no matter how trivial. Mike is drafting a revamped errata file which will (1) work better for publishing 2.x updates (as we did for 2.1 in September), and (2) adding dates that Errata were incorporated.
The project board, and our calls, are oriented to Pull Requests. That said, please try to work out issues before asking for comments on a PR. As example of this, please see Aligned WCAG 2.2 with WCAG 2.1 - 2.5.5 Target Size (Enhanced) Understanding Doc (missing examples) #3638 which probably should have been socialized as an Issue more, prior to asking for PR approval. The PR discussion is much too long, lots of replies, and no any thumbs up on the top post. It may be the case that we need a new (much simpler) PR for Ready for approval and Sent for WG approval. Left in For discussion.
Scott worked from Reflow Scratchpad and several issues and has a draft Understanding Reflow for feedback. Doc is open to anyone for Suggesting.
Scott also shared screen for a mock-up chat app with three columns as an interesting case. The whole page (all three columns) will reflow, but with some loss of functionality because the first column (a palette) which relates to the second column (tools) for input, but the third column (sources) is independent. For discussion, is that the two columns, because they interact, is an example where an exception is fair.
Scott will continue working on an interactive demo. Alastair recommended two starting with two columns, and get consensus on that, before adding more.
Change markers: add visual style and remove unnecessary text semantics #1481 is just a change to style sheet, and will be bundled with other erratum. Moved to Ready for approval.
Rewrite for 3.3.1 Error Identification understanding document #1651 has four thumbs up, but is long discussion thread. TF members are asked to take a look and thumbs up if you can in good conscience. Use of the word "must" might be problematic. Moved to Ready for approval with four thumbs up.
Add sufficient technique for 2.4.7 using :focus-visible #3272 Alastair noted that, since it is new, we need to double check the numbering (used for the filename). At present, there are 43. See Listing of all CCS techniques and techniques/css file listing in the repo.
Expand 1.4.10 Reflow note about 200% and breakpoints, add matching note to 1.4.4 Resize Text #2630 discussed very briefly. TF members asked to take a look and thumbs up or comment.
Update video-only 1.2.1 Understanding document #3802 looking for a volunteer. Looks like it could be straightforward.
Focus not obscured (minimum) and scrolling content into view #3801 discussed. Scott is working on this one and looking for feedback from group. SC is dependent upon behavior of keyboard focus. Keyboard focus going behind pop-up can be reveled by scrolling, but that is what the SC is trying to address.
