Requirements
If you are a designer and you want to add a new model yourself in the customizer there are a few things that are mandatory. As I need more information about the model than just the geometry (STL) you will need to convert yourself the design of the chosen body part and insert it inside a rigging software like Blender, Maya etc...
For the examples I will provide, I will be using Blender. You can find some reference files inside the /extra
folder in this repository.
A second requirement for printability reasons is the printability of the design that you are adding. If the part you are adding isn't printable then the all model won't be 3D printable. This means that the design you are adding needs to be composed of only one mesh (no intersecting faces) and the mesh mustn't contain any holes.
To check your design MyMiniFactory has hosted a 3D file checker were you can upload your design as STL and check that the design is printable at the following address:
