QGIS2Web is a fantastic addon for QGIS that enables you to quickly make portable web apps of your GIS data using either OpenLayers or Leaflet. This guide is a quick overview of getting a map up and running.
In former version of qgis2web there was a basemap selector but in order to preserve the modularity of code, this is now handled in QGIS first using XYZ Tiles
. Since my map is a historical map I'm going to use the Pioneer basemap from thunderforest.
