What's it doing now?

This is most certainly not a complete list, but will be adding as much information as possible to help users get their SmartSpin2k up and running! Feel free to add issues via the issues page and a solution will be developed.

  • My SmartSpin2k is not appearing on my network! If the SmartSpin2k doesn't find an active internet connection on the user entered SSID, it will revert to AP (Access Point) mode with the default SSID of "SmartSpin2k". The majority of the time, this is a result of a weak WiFi signal. Do what you can to increase signal and reboot the SmartSpin2k by removing and re-applying power.

  • My power numbers are way off! Check the calibration of your power device using manufacturer instructions Also check if the power meter is connected to the SmartSpin2k. Currently if no Bluetooth device is connected, SmartSpin2k will use user entered HR and power numbers (or default numbers) to estimate power based on HR.

  • My hearing is very sensitive, the motor is LOUD! Try enabling Stealth Chop in the Settings page. The voltage regulator driver will work to quiet the motor.

  • I need to upload a new firmware version to the SmartSpin2k ESP32, OTA isn't working! Please Click HERE to go to the wiki on loading firmware.

*My SmartSpink2k is getting warm after prolonged use. This issue has yet to be seen, but in a high temperature environment or with high usage, it is possible. Try to lower the Stepper Power in the Settings page
