Student enrollment

In order to participate in an educational escape room via Escapp you first need to register to create an account and log in.

You will then see all the escape rooms available for you to join and the ones in which you are already enrolled. You can click on the escape room you want to join or use the link or QR code provided by your teacher. If your teacher has chosen the escape room to be private, you will only be able to access through the link or QR code. You will be asked to confirm that you want to join the escape room:

If there is more than one shift available for you to pick, you will be asked to choose the one that best suits you. There are shifts that have a fixed time and other ones labeled as "always" that are self-paced (i.e., they allow you to play whenever you want). Click on your preferred shift and hit "next". You might be asked to enter a password (provided by the teacher) in order to enroll in the selected shift.

If the escape room allows participating in groups you will be asked to create a team or join an existing one. You may select an existing team by clicking on its name and hitting "next" or create your own team by clicking the "+" button.

Once enrolled, you will be able to see the escape room on the home page and access its information including the shift and team information and usually a set of instructions provided by the teacher. If you enrolled in a self-paced shift, you will be able to hit "start" and play the escape room whenever you want, otherwise, you need to wait until the teacher initiates the activity. You can leave the escape room and join a different shift or team if you want, but only if you haven not tarted playing yet.
