"Type" is a TE command listed in "Type" drop-down box. Each "Type" has various "Options" which you can choose from the Browse button.

| RunAs | Run a command line with administrator privilege |

| Tabs | Tab operations |
| Edit / View / Context / Background | Execute an item on the menu |
| Tools | Miscellaneous TE commands |
| Options | Go to an option page |
| Key | Simulate keystrokes |
| Load layout / Save layout | Load / save a layout (tabs and panes) |
| Add-ons | Execute an add-on command |
| Menus | Build a menu |
| (blank) | Execute multiple TE commands |
Note: Some "Type" accept multiple lines of "Options". You can Ctrl+Click the Open button on Browse > file selection window to add a line.
