Mincemeat 2 v0.4.13-pre
This is a special release for an unfinished version of v0.4.13. This isn't a full release not everything I want to do for this version has been done, but it is more stable than v0.4.12. Not all changes in this pre-release are on GitHub right now. I won't write a full changelog until this version is done, but are some of the more noteworthy differences so far if you use this instead of v0.4.12-hf4:
Changes in pre3
- Simple voice chat is now enabled by default
- Removed Wall Jumped
Changes in pre2
- Reverted font to Mojangles (a different custom font will be in the full release of v0.4.13)
Changes
- Updated bingo board with many more possible objectives and better balance
- Slower botany pots
- Improved Overworld Adventure quests
- Fixed cinnabar generation
- Actually made villages less common - the method used in past updates was not working
Mincemeat 2 v0.4.12
First update in a while, and this one's rather big. This means you should expect a hotfix soon.
Blocks will be missing from existing worlds due to the removals of several mods. As such, server resets/making a new world is recommended. However, you'll probably end up enjoying all the new biome mods more than you miss the one I removed. Alongside that are many balance changes and miscellaneous features.
Changes in hotfix4
- Added Bongo and a custom Mincemeat bingo board for playing lockout bingo on servers (I messed up some of the settings, these issues will be fixed in the next update)
Changes in hotfix3
The server pack is still the same, the only change for this is in the mod list.
- Reverted update to Undergarden Tetra Patch (since the new version doesn't work on dedicated servers)
Changes in "hotfix" 2
I don't know if these can really be called hotfixes since no one played the original v0.4.12. Also, this would be a huge "hotfix" since it adds 5 bosses and a lot of other content. The version currently attached is hotfix 2.

Mincemeat 2 v0.4.11
This fixes a silly mistake I made in 0.4.10 and adds some content mods. That's about it really. If you made a world in v0.4.10, you should delete it since I messed up and made worlds from that version use the vanilla world generator. v0.4.9 and earlier are fine, but between these two versions there are major changes to worldgen, so it's recommended to make a new world.
Changes in hotfix1
- Fixed an issue that caused the tower compat to create its own tags instead of using the ones added by TotW Modded, essentially meaning it wasn't doing anything
- Made villages less common (#170)
Changes
- Added YUNG's Better Jungle Temples and YUNG's Cave Biomes
- Fixed the custom world generation not working (and the swamp structure fix not being applied) by default
- Lowered the temperature of the Crimson Tundra
Server pack changes
- Updated list of mods that need to be removed in the Readme to be consistent with v0.4.10
- Added a note on how to fix an issue with invalid player data
Mincemeat 2 v0.4.10
This is a quick update that adds a few features and fixes that I didn't include in v0.4.9. Old worlds are compatible without any concerns, but a new world is recommended because this version has a couple of major worldgen fixes. In terms of future versions, I would expect to see v0.4.11 in around a month and then v0.5.0 at some point after that.
Changes
- Added Rebind Narrator
- Updated Advancement Plaques, finally fixing the issue where tooltip text fades out with the plaque
- Re-enabled the Quark module of Every Compat, meaning modded variant wood chests, ladders, etc. are back (#167)

- Limestone from Alex's Caves and Create can now be used in certain crafting recipes (#166)
- Fixed export size being higher than previous versions

- Removed Secrets of Forging items from the Equipment chapter
- Fixed missing texture in Aquatic Creatures
Mincemeat 2 v0.4.9
The Boated Update
This is an major update which adds content and bugfixes. Your old worlds will be compatible, but be aware that blocks may be missing from your builds, quest progress could break, and new chunks will be significantly different from old chunks.
I recommend creating a new world and using a Schematicannon to carry over any builds you want to keep. Most of the changes are intended to close issues.
I plan on having this be the second- or third-last v0.4 update before I release a version that makes breaking changes. Expect there to be a hotfix to add tips and fix any major bugs with this version, which will include a server pack.
Lastly, the installer size has increased significantly this version, I will try to reverse this for the next version.

This version adds a decent amount of content, as well as closing several issues which have been open for a while. One of the main focuses is difficulty, with a few mods being added and customized to try and close the gap in difficulty between Mincemeat 1 and 2.
Changes in hotfix1
Hotfix1 makes changes to Cold Sweat's settings to improve the overall experience. Unless a critical problem is found, there will not be any more hotfixes for this version, so expect more changes to the weather to come in the next version.
- The internal temperature indicator no longer overlaps with the experience level readout

- Lessened the effect of low body temperature on movement speed
- Added a description to the Waterskin quest
- Internal body temperature now changes more quickly (in other words, effects of extreme weather will occur after less time)

- Grottols and lanterns now spawn more frequently. Experimental change since I've never seen either spawn naturally in all my time making this modpack

Mincemeat 2 v0.4.7
The primary goals of this update are bugfixing and some other minor enhancements. However, I have big plans for the update after this one, so stay tuned.
The size of the export for this version is significantly larger than other versions due to the inclusion of Euphonium, which isn't on CurseForge.
This version uses Forge (not NeoForge) 47.3.0. Servers will have to be recreated because of this
Changelog:
- Changed mod loader to Forge 47.3.0
- Added Sawmill, Euphonium, What's That Slot?, ChickensShed, Fast Paintings
- Updated Upgrade Aquatic, Traverse, Ice and Fire, Citadel, Alex's Caves, Every Compat, Macaw's Windows, Macaw's Roofs, and Better Combat
- The Better Combat version is now obtained from CurseForge instead of being included with the zip
- Disabled Ambient Sounds. If you prefer it over Euphonium, you can go in the modlist and click the checkmark (prism) or toggle (CF) to turn it back on. Don't forget to disable Euphonium so you don't get overlapping sounds
- Changed the RTF preset to make the world look a bit more cinematic with longer mountain ranges and smaller sections of flat terrain
- Actually fixed an empty biome called "deferred placeholder" generating sometimes

Mincemeat 2 v0.4.6
Small update with a few changes for stability. Soon, I will start including installers for CurseForge and Prism, with the Prism version being preferred due to having Modrinth-exclusive mods.
There is currently an issue where no structures spawn in swamps. This is a problem with RTF and a new version of Mincemeat 2 will be put out when this is resolved.

- Updated Connector, Connector Extras, and GeckoLib
- Fixed desaturated colors while in survival mode
