The fifth SasView Code Camp will be held at the Spallation Neutron Source, Oak Ridge, Tennessee from 4th to 11th October, 2016
The meeting will start on the morning of Tuesday October 4th and run through the end of the day on October 11th.
Tickets to be addressed at code camp
Tuesday 4
- 8:30 process through visitor center
- 9:00 Welcome and introductions (Mathieu & Steve K)
- 9:15 Brief informal update/introductions from partners (Steve K.) - round the table, no slides :

- 10:15 short coffee break
- 10:30 git basics and coding rules of engagement (Piotr and Andrew)

- 13:30 New GUI - current status of SINE2020 work (Piotr)
- 14:00 SasFit integration - current status of SINE2020 work (Wojtek)
- 14:30 work in groups - coding and design team sessions

- 10:00 coding and design team meetings
Thursday 6
- 9:00 Status update and schedule adjustments as needed?
- 10.00 open presentation by a member of SasView: SasView a Small Angle Scattering Analysis Software Package, by an international collaboration of facilities
- 10:00 Coding and design team meetings for those not involved in talk
- 12:30 Lunch
- 13:30 coding and design team meetings
Friday 7
- 9:00 Status update, questions for other teams and schedule adjustments as needed
- 10:00 tour of SNS
- 11:00 coding and design team meetings
- 14:00 Group Photo
- 14:30 coding and design team meeting
Saturday 8
- 9:00 Coding and design team meetings
- 12:00 Lunch and quick updates/discussion as appropriate + plans going forward
Sunday 9
- 9:00 Roadmap updating discussion
- 9:30 coding and design team meetings
- 13:00 return to Oak Ridge/ free form afternoon
Monday 10
- 9:00 coding FINAL SPRINT
Tuesday 11
- 9:00 Wrap up coding and closeout
- 12:30 Lunch and depart (for some)
- 13:30 Post camp wrap up
- The distance from Oak Ridge to the lab is about 20 min drive. It is recommended that a number of participants have rental cars during the code camp.
- We suggest staying at the DoubleTree in Oak Ridge.
- Hotel reservation link: use group name SASVIEW Code Camp V
- The hotel is about 30 minutes aways from McGhee Tyson Airport in Knoxville. See directions .
- SNS is a short drive away from the hotel.
