• Status updates on projects?
  • Any updates on plot refactoring project? --> quick demo

  • Any updates on GSC fast Debye calculator for Mac (debye efficiency) https://github.com/SasView/sasview/pull/2882 --> working on getting a mac
  • Any updates on mumag https://github.com/SasView/sasview/pull/2825? --> ready for review?
  • Any updates on Materials (pore size distribution and 3 phase invariant - https://github.com/SasView/sasview/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+pore) --> Next tasks defined but will be July before progress can be made.
• Release discussions
  • numpy 2.0 is out and breaks stuff.
    • short term .. pin to <2.0? YES
    • Long term fixes - how does it effect dependencies?
      • bumps and periodictables have PR to fix
      • most dependencies latest versions seem to be compatible?
      • The uncertainties module is still a question mark.
    • Once bumps and periodic tables are updated with PRs, review and merge Brayden's sasmodels branch fix
    • Will need somebody to do the same for sasview and sasdata
  • Update on status of Beta release? Jeff
    • Mac signing status
      • ESS still an issue getting people together
      • ISA should now be able to do it --> Tim and Wojciech to try after call
      • If successful will try for a beta out this afternoon US time.
  • "Contributor" list update
    • Straw proposal "policy" - Paul (nearly ready)
    • Should we merge what we already have? https://github.com/SasView/sasview/pull/2883 -- YES but against release_6.0.0.
  • Status of What's new box https://github.com/SasView/sasview/pull/2880
    • needs review? or ready to merge. Should be ready pending final review
  • Status of about box fix -- needs review. In particular how it looks on different systems.
  • Status of splash screen and icon - Lucas was to provide color update to Wojciech who will then make a PR with splash screen and icon https://github.com/SasView/sasview/issues/2878 --> See notes in PR
