- The main goal of this code camp is to address issues related to SasView version 5.0.3
- We will use Kanban board https://github.com/orgs/SasView/projects/2
- Everyone is welcome to suggest tasks/issues to be addressed during the hacakathon (One can use “Add cards” to add new issues to the board. There are a few examples already on the board)
- SasView managers will group tasks and add labels if necessary (for easier filtering).
- The communication will be done through SasView slack channel and zoom (SasView account will be available all the time)
- It would be useful if people say on slack that they start and what they plan to work on.
- Daily meeting will be held on zoom at 8:30CA time, 11:30 EST, 3:30PM UK and 4:30 Europe (it may be adjusted as appropriate) and minutes will be taken and uploaded to the wiki
- We will aim at closing as many pull requests as possible and therefore considerable fraction of the day should be spent on code reviews. Hackathon manager may assign some reviewers
- If you have specific projects you would like to tackle share them as soon as you see think of them.
- sasview master, ESS_GUI branches as well as sasmodels masters are protected, please submit your changes through pull requests
We will host a demo session for external users on June 2nd or 9th. We will primarily invite users that reported issues we will work on during the hackathon or these that may be interested in the feature or good testers. After this session we will ask for feedback.
