Organisation Data Creation

Information about your organisation can be reviewed on your ‘Organization page’. Your organisation page can be accessed by clicking ‘Organisation’ on the left navigation bar (see below).

If you have just registered an organization, then you are required to complete the Reporting Organization Field under Settings. Your Reporting Organization and Organization Identifier will be added to your Organisation page according to your data entered on Settings.

Your Organisation page will display green ticks next to the elements menu that you enter and save data on.

Organisation Data consists of three elements menu:

  • Identification
  • Budgets
  • Documents

The Identification menu contains three sub elements:-

  • Reporting Organization
    • This is the reference page for the IATI XML element reporting-org.
  • Organisation Identifier
    • It refers to identification string for issuing the report of an organisation.
  • Name
    • It refers to name or description of the item which can be repeated in multiple languages.

The Budgets menu contains three sub-elements for the IATI Standard Version 2.01, whereas further two sub-elements has been added to IATI Standard Version Version 2.02.

  • This sub-element allows you to provide information on your organisation’s own budget. When & where possible, the organisation’s total annual planned budget. It is recommended that each of the next three years should reported.
  • This sub-element allows you to report forward-looking budgets for each institution which receives funding from your organisation. It is recommended the period of next three financial years.
  • This sub-element allows for the reporting of forward looking budgets for each country in which recipient organisation operates for the time period of next three financial years.
  • This sub-element allows for the reporting of forward looking budgets where the recipient organisation maintains region-wide, rather than or in addition to country-specific budgets. It is recommended the period of next three financial years.
  • This sub-element allows for the reporting of your organisation’s international development expenditure of past three years.

The Documents menu contains only one sub-element:-

  • Here you can include a link to an online, publicly accessible web page or document to provide valuable information regarding budgets or other information relating to the organisation as a whole.
