Working with Transaction CSV
Transactions can be uploaded along with activity or individually per activity both. If you are looking for uploading of transaction along with activity, do visit Working with CSV file for Uploading & Transaction Fields.
As an activity might contain several transactions, uploading them along with activity or entering them manually can be a tedious job. Therefore to simplify the task, only transaction file can be uploaded through the Element list. The necessary steps are as follows:

From the list of activities, go to your respective activity.

On right side scroll down until you find **transaction ** element then click it.
Transaction Importer interface will open.
- Click on the
Import New Transaction
button.
- Select and download the template as per your requirement.
The attribute difference in simple and detail transactions templates are:

- Fill in the CSV File.
Concept and filling of CSV is same as of Working with CSV file for Uploading
Note:
- The date should be in yy/dd/mm format.
- The header of the template should not be edited or deleted.
- The cell must be left empty if there is no data for the related heading.

Choose the file and click
Upload
button. -
You will then be redirected to Import Transaction status page.
Here the importer will validate your data in your csv file. All the correct transactions will be marked green and can be imported. If any of the transaction is incorrect then those data will be marked red; you won't be able to import them. You can filter the data according to valid, invalid and all
options.
If you click on the red marked transaction's file, data that needs to be corrected will be visible as:
You can correct those data and upload the file again.

Once all the transaction are correct, you can import them all by ticking on the check boxes and clicking the
Import
button on the top right. -
Successful upload of files will be visible in step 3 inteface as:
Congratulations your transaction file has been uploaded.
Once the transactions have been imported, you can always edit them manually and update the data.
