Variants and Optional Rules

Variants and optional rules may be selected when creating a game (with references to the rule book, if appropriate).

• Implemented:
  • Cisleithania variant: 2 or 3 players. Smaller board and removal of some components. Note! If 2 players Cisleithania is used even if optional rule not selected.
  • Goods Time: 3-6 players. Standard game where some plain hexes are replaced with single or double town hexes. Adds some extra tiles to the game. At 18xx.games the suggested start scenario is used as the only choice. Note! If Cisleithania is used Goods Time choice is ignored.
• Not implemented:
  • Goods Time with player selected start hexes.
