- Minor company draft starts the game. Each drafted company buys a train before its first OR.
- Minor companies merge/convert to major companies
- Players always pay current market value to the bank for shares. IPO shares pay the company its par value. Treasury shares pay the company its current market value.

- Multiple express trains show up as a single train when running routes. There will be a "(2x)" or "(3x)" note at the end of the route string.
- IPO shares have the current market price listed as their price, but they will fund their company at the par price (shown at the bottom of the corporate card).
- During the first stock round, on the map, minors available for reservation are shown in cyan, reserved minors are shown in light gray, formed minors are shown in dark gray and unavailable minors (those not available until Phase 3) are shown in white.
- To issue IPO and Treasury shares on the same turn, issue Treasury shares first and IPO shares after. (This is to avoid a bug in which issuing the IPO share would cause the share price to drop before issuing the Treasury shares.)
